The Center for Instructional Technology & Training (CITT) will be offering its popular Course Mapping Camp online with three separate offerings in 2021 (April 22-23, August 12-13, or December 9-10). This hands-on, two-day workshop is designed to help instructors build a pedagogically sound blueprint for any course.
Led by experienced instructional designers, Course Mapping Camp begins with student learning outcomes, moving from course goals to the development of specific and measurable learning objectives. Next, instructors design student learning experiences and identify assessments, learning materials, and activities that support defined learning outcomes. Throughout the course design process, camp instructors will provide guidance and feedback to ensure alignment between goals, objectives, and assessments and discuss tailored approaches to scaffold student learning.
Visit our Course Mapping Camp information page for more details and to register for this two-day workshop via myTraining. Please note that this workshop will be held online via Zoom (meetings at 9:00-10:30 and 2:00-3:00 each day). The workshop facilitators will email details about the schedule/attendance prior to the workshop start date.
