This series is designed for faculty in their first years of teaching at UF. Learn how to create a great learning experience for your students while saving time and frustration; we invite you to adapt and use the strategies that are right for you.

This self-paced online offering provides instruction on how to design online courses with accessibility in mind. The course covers different types of accessibility needs and suggestions for making an online course more accessible.

Aligning Assessments to Objectives
Aligning Assessments to Objectives provides participants the opportunity to analyze the relationship between course goals, student learning objectives, and assessments. Participants will focus on creating a course architecture for one module of content that promotes a student-centered approach to course design.

Effective Feedback allows participants to analyze the positive impact of utilizing informative evaluations on student work in order to improve performance. Engaging Online Learners uses research-supported studies to examine and model best practice in online course design. The UF Team-Based Learning (TBL) Workshop is designed for educators who are interested in implementing a new learning method into their classrooms – in person or online. TBL makes teaching more rewarding for educators and learning more successful for students. Taught by UF Pharmacy and Medicine faculty and TBL experts, Drs. Michelle Farland and Wayne McCormack, this event will teach educators how to elevate classrooms in any field using a flipped-classroom learning method.
