UF All Access Overview

The UF All Access purchasing program is a partnership between the University of Florida Bookstores (Follett), UF Business Services and multiple textbook publishers. Since the program began in 2013, it has saved UF students over $13 million in comparison with new print costs. Students refer to the program as “opt-in” because they must choose to participate in the program. One of the main benefits of the program is that it ensures students have access to digital materials (including homework tools and other courseware) on the first day of class.


How Do I Participate?

  1. Contact the UF Bookstore, or your publishing representative, to see if the course materials you wish to use are eligible for participation.
  2. Enable access to the All Access eText or homework tool within Canvas – this step is critical. Without it, students will not be able to access the material at the start of classes.
    • You can contact the UF Bookstore for directions on enabling the BryteWave (VitalSource) eReader in your Canvas course site
    • If you are using a Pearson product, Kara Struebing will assist with set up.
  3. Provide the access information in your syllabus and start-of-classes announcements.
