The AI Faculty Learning Community (FLC) is designed to support faculty who have completed the “Harnessing AI for Teaching and Learning” FLC or the “Teaching with AI in the SEC” FLC and who have implemented new AI-centered practices in their courses. Faculty who teach AI courses are also welcome to apply.

Key Details:
- Participation: Limited to 15 faculty members.
- Stipends: Participants will receive a stipend for their participation and completion of the FLC requirements. Participants will receive an additional stipend for publishing or presenting their work at national or international conferences. Additional funding is available for publication fees.
- Support: Comprehensive support from the inception to completion of their Research in Teaching and Learning (RiTL) projects.
FLC Requirements
- Active participation in at least 12 of the 14 scheduled sessions
- Presentation of creative work or an AI-RiTL project at either Interface or the RiTL Symposium
Objectives
- Explore New Approaches: Delve into innovative AI applications in education.
- Complete a Project: Initiate or advance a RiTL research project.
- Identify and Share Best Practices: Discover and share effective AI strategies in higher education.
