Welcome to Our Faculty Learning Community (FLC)

The Center for Instructional Technology and Training and the Center for Teaching Excellence are sponsoring a faculty learning community titled “Harnessing AI for Teaching & Learning” for 2024. This FLC explores the transformative potential of artificial intelligence (AI) in teaching and learning. Members will engage in a series of active learning workshops to apply AI across diverse educational contexts and develop or revise course content with AI in mind, leveraging new opportunities created by AI tools. The FLC will collaborate on Research in Teaching & Learning (RiTL) projects to be shared with the wider UF community at the semi-annual symposiums.

This FLC is designed to build a vibrant AI-focused faculty community, foster practical AI application skills, and promote ethical considerations in AI for education. Participants will gain hands-on experience and develop projects that contribute to the evolving landscape of AI in teaching and learning at UF.
