Get Involved with the UF CTE Teaching Community
Great teaching doesn’t happen in isolation—it thrives when ideas are shared, questions are explored together, and instructors learn from one another. At UF, the Center for Teaching Excellence brings educators together to celebrate what’s working, experiment with new approaches, and support one another’s growth as teachers.
Your experience matters. Your ideas can spark innovation. And your participation helps make UF a place where excellent teaching is visible, valued, and continuously evolving.
Here are some ways to become an active contributor to the UF CTE teaching community:
- Host a Café Conversation or Teaching Sparks session
- Lead a Passport workshop showcasing a teaching idea or strategy
- Contribute an article to the resource library
- Record a Teaching Beyond the Podium podcast episode
- Volunteer as a juror for the Annual CTE awards
- Present or volunteer at the Interface Teaching Conference
- Share your published SoTL or RiTL article
- Connect with potential collaborators for future research or other projects
Bonus, you can earn Passport miles and qualify for a Rising Star Award! Email CTE to get involved.
Does your unit provide professional development to support teaching? Let’s collaborate!
