Course Materials
Overview
Course materials are one of the most important—and often overlooked—parts of course design. The choices instructors make about textbooks, readings, and other resources shape not only what students learn, but how they experience the course and whether they are able to fully participate in it.
Why Revise Your Course Materials?
The right course materials can do more than deliver content. They can reduce financial barriers, increase flexibility, and create more inclusive learning experiences. As the range of available options continues to expand—from traditional textbooks to open and customizable resources—so does the opportunity to design courses more intentionally.
