Effective mentoring is crucial to the success of students and postdocs academically and in their future careers. In this workshop, Dr. Samira Daroub will introduce essential elements of mentoring focusing on effective communication and aligning expectations and goals with mentees. Dr. Daroub will briefly go over examples of lab compacts for graduate students and postdocs.
