Teaching During a Pandemic

Are you ready to keep teaching your course if a health pandemic affects UF?  Under these conditions you may have large numbers of student absences occurring over a period of months.  Instructors and teaching assistants may also be absent for several days.  It is also possible the university may close for an extended period, which may last weeks.

To ensure teaching continuity, instructors must be adequately prepared to deal with each of the above scenarios. The three key components to ensure that the educational process of the university continues are:

  1. Planning for Course Continuance
  2. Communicating with Students
  3. Using Available Tools and Services for Course Delivery
