Library Workshops

The Libraries have the following workshops available, during the intersession and in the fall semester. To register for one of these sessions, go to:

RefWorks 2.0 Complete

In this workshop, you will receive an introduction to the newest version of RefWorks. You will learn how to export citations from the library catalog and journal article databases, and then how to create a bibliography using those citations. You will also see a demo of the Write-N-Cite plug-in for Microsoft Word.

Feel free to bring your own laptop.

Get to Know Library West!

Attend an orientation to familiarize yourself with the services offered at UF’s largest library, Library West. This popular library houses the Humanities & Social Sciences collection, the Judaica Collection, 200+ computers, iPads and laptops that you can borrow, group study rooms equipped with flat-screen monitors, and much, much more! Learn how to research your topics and find information with the help of the 18 librarians who call Library West home. Find out how you can reserve a study room, where you can use dual-monitor computers, scan documents, print, and discover the many more services offered at Library West!
